As a Disability Liaison Officer, you will use a deaf student’s audiogram as the main evidence of their need for support. However, if you are unfamiliar with an audiogram and/or how to understand the implications of the hearing loss it documents, then it may be a difficult task for you to complete an assessment of a student’s support needs.
