Higher Education at NMIT is thriving!
Since establishing accredited degree programs in 2006, NMIT now has a range of degree programs in a number of distinct disciplinary areas; the Creative Arts, Business, Hospitality, Primary Industries and Education.
We have the advantage of bringing our long experience and highly regarded expertise in TAFE’s vocational learning environment to degree and associate degree programs with guaranteed industry involvement leading to genuine job opportunities.
Whether you are coming to NMIT from secondary school, VET or other courses or returning to study as a mature age learner, we support you to develop as successful lifelong learners and capable practitioners in your desired fields. An NMIT degree also prepares you to be able to make valuable contributions to your communities. With an emphasis on flexibility we accommodate full time and part time study, in combinations of face-to-face and online learning.
We aim to graduate students who have the knowledge and skills to make the transition directly into the workforce.
