What is the Bachelor of Business?
The Bachelor of Business is a newly accredited three year higher education qualification designed to meet the needs of industry and business for skilled and knowledgeable professionals and business specialists.
The course includes core subjects such as marketing, law, management, accounting, finance, project management, economics, global business environments and depending on the major and electives – environmental economics, leadership, international business law, procurement, operations management, international trade, human resource management, marketing research, quality management and human resource management.

A key element of the Bachelor of Business is a multi disciplinary approach through the inclusion of elective subjects and broadly based business curricula.
An Industry Practicum provides a focus on the development of real world skills, employability and engagement with the relevant profession.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Business are practical; solutions orientated and able to make a meaningful contribution to their profession.
The Associate Degree of Business is an embedded exit point at the completion of the second year of the Bachelor of Business. To gain this qualification, students must complete all first and second year subjects of the Bachelor program.
The course is located at NMIT's Preston campus with entrance requirements being successful completion of Year 12 VCE or equivalent with English, or successful completion of a minimum TAFE Diploma or any other Higher Education course. Relevant industry or life experience that demonstrates capacity to undertake study at degree level may also be taken into account.
What is the cost of studying at NMIT?
Students can enrol in NMIT's bachelor courses for three year's full-time, or have the option of enrolling part-time. The degree programs are fee for service and costs A$12,000 a year, or A$1,500 per subject. However all courses have the option of FEE-HELP for eligible students. No additional fees are charged beyond the tuition fees for the compulsory components of any higher education courses.
The tuition fees are calculated based on full-time study. Part-time fees per year depend on subjects chosen (part-time study is only available to domestic students).
