The Bachelor of Information Technology is a newly accredited (VRQA) degree which was developed to meet the growing demand for business professionals qualified in the areas of Network Security, Business Information Systems and Software Development.
It is ideal for those wishing to combine a mainstream business orientated Information Technology course with either a Network Security, Business Information Systems or Software Development focus.

The Associate Degree of Information Technology is an embedded exit point at the completion of the second year of the Bachelor of Information Technology. To gain this qualification, students must complete all first and second year subjects of the Bachelor program.
The course is located at NMIT's Collingwood and Preston campuses with entrance requirements being successful completion of Year 12 VCE or equivalent with English, or successful completion of a minimum TAFE Diploma or any other Higher Education course.
What is the cost of studying at NMIT?
Students can enrol in NMIT's bachelor courses for three year's full-time, or have the option of enrolling part-time. The degree programs are fee for service and costs A$12,000 a year, or A$1,500 per subject. However all courses have the option of FEE-HELP for eligible students. No additional fees are charged beyond the tuition fees for the compulsory components of any higher education courses.
The tuition fees are calculated based on full-time study. Part-time fees per year depend on subjects chosen (part-time study is only available to domestic students).
