Deputy Director Programs: Higher Education
NMIT has established the position of Deputy Director Programs Higher Education to provide educational leadership for higher education programs at NMIT.
The Deputy Director Programs Higher Education is Dr Christine Spratt
The Deputy Director Programs Higher Education:
- Provides expert and concise advice on higher education policy and development to assist NMIT develop appropriate strategic directions.
- Consults with academic staff and others to develop best practice in student learning and engagement.
- Promotes contemporary best practices in higher education across the portfolio.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with a wide range of staff internal to NMIT and with other educational institutions and government regulatory authorities.
- Participates as a member of the academic committees established to oversee the development, governance and quality assurance of higher education at NMIT.
- Promotes a culture of research, applied research and evaluation and scholarly approaches to teaching and learning at NMIT.
