Alan Nguyen

Alan Nguyen has been active as a producer of film, television and multimedia works for a number of years.

In 2008 he began Lecturing within the Bachelor of Illustration at NMIT.

In 2007 Alan worked as a Creative Head on the Brisbane Festival's 'Big Square Eye' project, which involved facilitating the production of animation and video works for exhibition as part of the festival.

He worked on two consecutive State Library of Queensland 'Digital Stories' projects in 2006 and 2007, producing content for DVD and the internet. In 2007, he wrote and directed 'Noise Idol' which aired on ABC television.

Alan completed a Master of Digital Design in 2002 and has been teaching at the tertiary level (at the Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University) for several years. He is currently undertaking his doctorate studies at Griffith University, researching the intersection of animation and live-action film practices.
