NMIT's Faculty of Earth Sciences' major involvement with this year's Seymour Alternative Farming Expo (SAFE), comprised 21 seminars attracting 260 attendees at SAFE over three days from Friday February 20.

NMIT’s Earth Sciences faculty boasts a fully operational farm, vineyard, horse stud, forklift training area, glass houses for herb growing, a plant nursery, outdoor and indoor fish farms and well equipped science laboratories.
