Please note: Students who have completed a Certificate I, II, III or IV are not eligible to attend graduation.

The first thing you need to do to make sure you are eligible to graduate is to make sure the paperwork to obtain your qualification has been completed. Click on the links below for more information about this process.

Please note: Students who have successfully completed a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree qualification and would like to attend the Annual NMIT Graduation Ceremony do not submit your application form until after August.

Your guide to the graduation ceremony:

The Annual NMIT graduation ceremony is an opportunity for NMIT students with Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree and Degree graduands to accept their qualification at a ceremony with family and friends.

  1. Eligible students receive an invitation (by mail)
    Diploma and above students eligible to graduate are sent an invitation in the mail (another reason to make sure your personal details are up to date)

    Instructions about how to RSVP online are included in the invitation.
  2. Students RSVP online
    Students who RSVP will receive an information pack in the mail.
    Note: late acceptances to graduation cannot be accepted.

  3. Students cost to attend graduation
    The cost of attending the graduation ceremony is A$50. This includes: entrance to the ceremony for you and two guests, the hire of your academic regalia, and supper at the end of the ceremony. Additional guest passes can be purchased for $15 per person.

    Please note: Payments to attend the NMIT graduation ceremony are non-refundable.

  5. Student attends ceremony
