Fouad Fares has taken an interest in international business to a professional level by completing NMIT's associate degrees in International Business Management and International Business. Currently completing a Bachelor of Business (International Trade) at NMIT, Fouad is confident he will have the skills to launch his own import and export business.

Studying in the NMIT Business program has given Fouad Fares the confidence to start his own business in international trade.

Fouad Fares wants to start his own business in international trade, and NMIT business degrees have given him the confidence to do so.

"The courses have been great. They have been very diverse and have given me the necessary knowledge and practical skills for a good understanding of managing in international business and trading in an international environment. Studying at NMIT has been a successful experience to learn and qualify for my professional career."

As a high-achieving student, Fouad received an NMIT study grant during his studies for $1000 from the NMIT Industry Foundation, which he used towards books and memberships of industry groups.

"The teaching staff are an advantage of being at NMIT. They combine qualifications with hands-on experience to provide real life examples of business issues. They have a broad understanding of the industry."

The experience and knowledge gained at NMIT are assisting Fouad in the process of starting his own business in imports and exports. Fouad has worked on building professional networks and planning to launch the business, which will focus on importing into Australia.

Fouad has enjoyed the experience of studying at NMIT, particularly, "the quality of the classes and the teaching, and the diversity - meeting people from different backgrounds".
