Infusion 46, written, edited and designed by Professional Writing and Editing students , was launched late July at Collingwood NMIT with some great readings, cake, and even a few cameras.
With this 46th issue of the Professional Writing and Editing flagship publication, it’s clear the magazine is getting better and better, both in the quality of the writing published and the design talents demonstrated by the students.
INfusion was first established in 2000. It began as a humble, small-format magazine and has since grown in scope and ambition to become the sleek, professional-looking publication it is today. INfusion is issued twice each year.
Infusion 47 is now open for submissions (nmit_infusion@hotmail.com) until 31 August, and will be published in November 2012. Keep up to date with the publishing schedule and readings on the INfusion Facebook page.
Submissions from all NMIT students will be considered. In particular, the magazine is looking for :
- images
- short stories
- short plays
- humour
- lyrics
- rhymes
- poetry
- fiction
- memoir
- nonfiction.
As always with print publications space is at a premium so submissions are encourage to be under 3,000 words limit, to allow inclusion of as many submissions as possible. If you are working on something longer – such as a novel – then please consider sending a suitable extract.
