Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media students from NMIT have been occupied putting together Season 2 of Melbourne 22 – a fun and relaxed look at what’s happening in and around Melbourne. The show premieres on Community Television Channel 31 on August 9th at 6:30pm.
The series has been produced by Screen and Media students using the Television Training Unit state of the art facilities on Collingwood campus.
Produced, directed and filmed by the students, the program showcases the talents of the next generation of Melbourne television makers.
Hosted by Aaron McCarthy (twitter) and Yasmin Bushby (twitter), the show “delved deep, uncovering Melbourne’s secrets and exploring it’s beauty while keeping you up to date with the goings on in our glorious city, proving why Melbourne is the place to be.”
Several prominent local Melbourne performers and artists are also featured during episodes of the show. Watch the teaser/promo video for the show below:
