Further Study and Careers

Pathways to Further Study

Graduates of this course may be given exemptions by other tertiary institutions if they wish to continue with further study. The level of exemptions is determined by the individual tertiary institution on a case by case basis.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this course may gain employment in the electrical technology and engineering industry in design, development and maintenance roles.

This is not a pathway that leads to a licensed electrician qualification.

Entrance Requirements

Completion of VCE with passes in: Mathematics (any) 3 & 4 Information Technology 1 & 2 and English 3 & 4. In some cases, particularly in part-time study, exceptions to these standards can be made. Please discuss with Department. Conversion from other courses or disciplines is possible. Please contact the Department to discuss arrangements and/or required bridging modules.
