This Certificate II in Creative Industries (Media) is offered through the VCAL division of the Youth Unit.
Youthworx Media has partnered with NMIT to deliver this course, which is tailored to the meet the needs of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, with a high level of support provided. The program runs out of a newly established media training studio in Brunswick.
Develop the skills to perform tasks in areas such as:
- cinematography
- basic vision and sound editing
- on-air presentation
Other areas of study include:
- research skills - collect and organise content for broadcast or publication
- creative thinking
- industry context
- occupational health and safety
- workplace effectiveness
NMIT also offers the Certificate II in Creative Industries (Media) through the Information Technology Department.
