Career Opportunities
After achieving competence in all the prescribed units, and completing all on-the-job training requirements, the Apprentice is deemed to be a qualified Joiner and will be able to work in a variety of residential and commercial applications.
Entrance Requirements
Applicants must be employed and formally registered as an Apprentice with an Apprenticeship Centre (AC). NMIT receives notification directly from the AC of the request to commence training. To find the AC closest to you, visit: http://australianapprenticeships.gov.au/search/aacsearch.asp

Assessment for this course is competency based. Competence is assessed using a variety of methods including observation, demonstration, written and oral questioning and projects.
