This national qualification covers workers who provide a range of services and interventions to clients. Work may take place in a range of contexts such as community-based organisations, residential services, youth and outreach services. The program aims to develop students' knowledge and skills in relation to community services operations, requirements, interventions and client issues. The Certificate IV provides broad opportunities for employment and is regarded by employers as a desirable (and sometimes mandatory) entry-level qualification.

Entrance Requirements
Prospective students are expected to have the literacy skills appropriate for both the demands of the training and the workplace. Applicants must be 20 years of age at the commencement of the course.

You will be given an application form at the information session which you will submit to the Health & Community Studies Department.
If you meet the selection criteria you will be invited to attend an interview at NMIT.
