This qualification covers workers who provide a range of community services and community interventions to clients with mental health issues and/or implement health promotion and community interventions.
The course is designed for workers currently in the mental health field or a related field where issues concerning mental illness are encountered regularly such as alcohol and drugs work.

Entrance Requirements
Applicants must be at least 20 years of age at the commencement of the course and must demonstrate at least one years paid work experience in the mental health or related field and be employed at the time of entrance into the course.

You will be given an application form at the information session which you will submit to the Health & Community Studies Department.
If you meet the selection criteria you will be invited to attend an interview at NMIT.
