NMIT offers ELICOS courses at all levels from beginner (elementary) to advanced (English for Academic Purposes). Studies concentrate on development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as an introduction to Australian society, computer studies and vocational orientation.
All students are assessed prior to commencing the course and placed in a class appropriate to their needs.
Classes are Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm, with 25 contact hours of English per week (including Computer Assisted Language Learning).
