Testimonials

SRM Risk continues to enjoy a successful relationship with the BEC. Having worked closely on a number of projects we have found the professionalism provided by BEC and their staff first class.

I am just writing to thank you for the excellent workshops we have attended during this year. The quality of the training that you and your staff presented was informative, interesting and of a very high quality. We now have very useful information to refer to and also to share with any future staff we employ to work on the Front End.  For someone like me who had to be dragged kicking and screaming to attend this course, I was amazed at how much I learned and how much I enjoyed doing the training. I feel we all learned something from each other and other regions and I am proud of the way we from the Hume Region conducted ourselves and the way we represented the department we work for.

Keep up the "good work" and call in and visit us if ever you are in our region.

While I think of it I just wanted to let you know how valuable I've found the NMIT Certificate IV in Government course and especially your support as mentor.

I know the whole group has appreciated the course content, which is so well researched and suited all round to what we actually do. We've also found it a great side benefit to be able to meet and share with staff from all the other offices who also work in Reception or associated areas. It has also been good to have Head Office support, and to get to know Dale, Marie and Bree. I am very pleased that the two other Reception staff from this office have opted to enrol in the current intake for this course and would highly recommend it to others

Dear Claire

After a very fruitful 4 year partnership with NMIT our officers will be graduating with the Diploma of Seafood Industry (Fisheries Compliance) and the Diploma of Management.

As a key figure in our partnership, we would like to invite you to the graduation to be held in our Melbourne Office. In addition, we would also like to invite you to address the gathering on behalf of BEC.

Prior to receiving the formal invitations we would be most grateful if you could consider your availability to be one of the guests to address the graduands.

Hi Karen

Just wanted to pass on a good experience I had yesterday about applying info we had studied at one of the workshops.  I had a call from a staff member of a Community Health Service who wanted me to point her in the right direction to find out info about destroying client info files and other records management regulations.

A light switch went on in my brain (which doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it's very exciting!) and I remembered from the first workshop ‑ Understanding & Working in Government learning about different Acts which pertain to our roles.  I got out my Cert IV in Government Resource Guide and there in black and white was the Information Privacy Act 2000.  The staff member was then able to access the Act (which she had never heard of prior) and obtain the info she needed.  Prior to participating in the workshop, I wouldn't have had a clue either.....

I would like to express my appreciation for NMIT Consultant Karen Bear. Over the five years I have known Karen, I have found her to be extremely helpful and consistently reliable. With Karen’s knowledge and experience, she has helped in developing me as a store manager to the best of my ability. I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with her as I commence my Diploma of Business.

AA Holdings Pty Ltd has been involved with NMIT in a training partnership and they have been delivering the BP Compulsory Induction Training programme for the past five years. During this time all of the communication, development, co-ordination, delivery and on site assessments for the programme has been handled by Karen Bear.

Karen has handled all of AA Holdings training needs in a very professional and flexible manner, including conducting classroom sessions on Saturdays when needed, at various venues around Melbourne as required and by visiting sites for individual assessments after hours to fit in with the demanding requirements of our 24 hour businesses.

During this time the number of sites at AA Holdings has grown significantly - currently at forty-nine sites and expanding with two more highway sites later this year and a further six planned over the next three years.  Over this period of time Karen has been able to accommodate all of our training needs including the training required for several of our new highway sites always fitting in with their hectic opening schedules.

Karen has a very thorough understanding of the needs of our business and conducts the final assessments extremely thoroughly and provides excellent feedback to our Licensees on site and discusses the ongoing training requirements for their operators.

During this year we have worked closely together to change the training over in line with BP advancements to On-Line Training.   This has been a challenging exercise but has been dealt with the utmost professionalism and adaptation to suit the requirements of our business.
Overall we have been very pleased with all of our dealings and outcomes from the training provided by Karen and NMIT.
