The Alternative Technology Assocation has featured courses being offered in the renewable energy sector, including detailing the courses offered by NMIT and featuring Renewable Energy student Deborah Porter.

Issue 109 of the magazine, ReNew: technology for a sustainable future, features Deborah Porter who completed her Certificate IV in Renewable Energy with NMIT in 2008, was named the NMIT student of the year at the 2009 graduation ceremony, and was one of four finalists vying for the title of Victorian Vocational Student of the Year.

NMIT is committed to providing courses and training that deliver the skills required to build a sustainable future and be at the forefront of industry trends. In 2009-2010 NMIT is building the Green Skills Centre of Excellence located at the Epping Campus.
