I'm Phil Tripp, Head of Department Agriculture and Animal Science at NMIT. I came to NMIT in 1999 as an agricultural teacher. For me it was a natural progression after a lifetime in agriculture.

Agriculture and Animal Science is such a diverse Department. We have everything from agriculture, equine, viticulture, conservation, industrial skills which is earthmoving and forklift training. NMIT have always been the leader in having their staff fully trained and compliant with AQTF standards.
