Topics include: OH&S; identify, use and maintain the basic tools for selected tasks; identify wood grain direction; identify and make construction joints; fastenings; finishing materials; safe and correct use hand power tools,

Project: Design a project with leg and rail construction e.g. outdoor furniture.

Materials: You need to wear work clothing, protective equipment (work boots, safety eye protection and ear plugs) and bring a pen and notebook.
