This course is specifically designed for existing Insulation Installers and people who wish to enter this industry. The course is a key requirement for registration as an installer on the Australian Government's Installer Provider Register. Once placed on this register, Installers will be able to provide their services to clients under the Australian Government's Energy Efficient Package which includes a $1,200 subsidy for the installation of ceiling insulation.
Modules:
- CPCCOHS2001A - Apply OH&S requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry.
- CPCCPB3014A - Install batt insulation products
- CPCCM1006A - Work Safely at Heights
In addition to the above training, Installer Provider Register applicants must also hold a current Occupational Health and Safety induction card (CIC) or equivalent. NMIT offers training in the CIC and information on this can be gained on application.
