The intermediate jewellery course has been designed as a progressive step for the students that have completed the beginner’s jewellery course.
Full workshop facilities available. All necessary tools are supplied.
Training outcomes:
- Produce a finished prototype of a cast jeweller item using the method of wax carving for the lost wax casting technique.
- Produce a bracelet using traditional chain manufacturing techniques.
- Produce a wire cable type necklet with a pendant.
- Have an understanding of the safe production techniques and OH&S that are involved within these projects.
The articles of jewellery that will be produced during the course are:
- Cast ring production
- Linked Bracelet
- Necklace and Pendant
