Certificate II in Animal Studies
A career caring for animals - with NMIT’s Certificate II in Animal Studies you will be provided with the skills and knowledge to be able to care for a range of animals.
Certificate III in Animal Technology
The Certificate III in Animal Technology is the minimum industry qualification for persons operating at a junior or assistant level and undertaking animal technology functions within a scientific environment. Gain a range of skills such as biological laboratory procedures and preparing anaesthesia for animals.
Certificate III in Companion Animal Services
A career caring for companion animals - NMIT’s Certificate III in Companion Animal Services is the recommended industry qualification to work with companion animals. The course features practical experience with animals, giving you the skills and knowledge to care for companion animals.
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Formalise your Veterinary Nursing qualifications - NMIT’s Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing provides you with the industry qualification for your veterinary nursing career. You’ll develop your skills in a range of animal care and surgical routines.
Diploma of Animal Technology
Care for animals in biomedical and educational environments - NMIT’s Diploma of Animal Technology provides you with the skills and knowledge is the industry qualification to undertake animal care and related animal technology functions within a biomedical research or production environment.
Diploma of Veterinary Nursing (General Practice)
