Advanced Diploma of Accounting
This is the industry specified pathway for persons wishing to practice as a qualified accountant. This qualification is designed to reflect the role of employees working as accountants who perform duties such as: tax planning, evaluating business performance (financial modelling) perform internal and external audit functions, perform and supervise audits, management financial planning and managing a team or department.
Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical)
This course of study is part of the Financial Services Training Package, a set of qualifications recognised throughout Australia and designed by the Financial Services Industry to provide skilled staff for the growing finance sector. It provides practical training in the areas of: accounts payable / accounts receivable duties, payroll preparation and pay as you go responsibilities, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping to trial balance, preparation of financial reports, manual and computerised systems and preparation of business activity statements. Courses are developed under the Australian Qualifications Framework, in close consultation with industry and professional associations. The Certificate III is a nationally endorsed qualification
Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting)
This qualification is designed to reflect the role of employees who perform duties such as: completion of BAS and other office taxes, operational reporting, production of basic management reports, production of basic job costing reports, preparation of budgets, supervising the operation of computer based systems, classifying, recording and reporting of accounting information, maintaining inventory records managing a small office and making decisions in a legal context.
Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) - Commerce Department
This course of study is part of the Financial Services Training Package, a set of qualifications recognised throughout Australia and designed by the Financial Services Industry to provide skilled staff for the growing finance sector. It provides practical training in the areas of: establishing and maintaining cash accounting systems and accrual accounting systems, carry out Business Activity and Instalment Activity Statements, maintain asset and inventory records, prepare financial statements and establishing and maintaining a payroll system. Courses are developed under the Australian Qualifications Framework, in close consultation with industry and professional associations. The Certificate IV is a nationally endorsed qualification.
Diploma of Accounting
This qualification is designed to reflect the role of employees who perform such duties as: introducing and maintaining accounting systems, maintaining internal control systems, preparing financial statements for a reporting entity, preparing tax returns, reporting on business performance, managing small teams, developing business plans and preparing management accounting reports.
