Certificate IV in Aromatherapy
NMIT will give you training in essential oils, which will enable you to become a practicing aromatherapist. This includes assessment of client needs and planning a treatment. You will also learn aromatherapy massage terminology and developing aromatherapy products. You can do on-the-job training at the NMIT Aromatherapy Clinic.
Diploma of Aromatherapy
NMIT will give you training to holistically treat clients using essential oils, where the different smells (aromas) and the chemical constituents of oils can produce different emotional and physiological reactions. Learn the complex chemical structures from which their unique properties and active principles are derived and how to apply them for effective treatment. On-the-job training is provided at the NMIT Aromatherapy Clinic.
