English for Bilingual Health and Community Work
This program comprises the English for Bilingual Health and Community Work stream of the Certificate III in ESL (Employment). The course comprises the Certificate III in ESL (Employment) and Certificate II in Community Services. Gain skills and knowledge in intermediate English language, and workplace skills relevant to the health and community services sector. The course includes work placement in a health or community organisation. The Vocational Pathways Department also offers other ESL streams of the Certificate III in ESL (Employment).
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
Health services assistants provide assistance to professionals and work with clients while supervised. You could work in hospitals or community health facilities or for agencies that supply support services staff. Skills and knowledge learnt include: infection control and transporting patients.
