Maintenance
This program comprises the Maintenance stream of the Certificate IV in Engineering. Fluid Power
This program comprises the Fluid Power stream of the Certificate IV in Engineering. Enhances the skills of people working in the engineering field in the manufacture and servicing of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. Covers the design, manufacture and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Certificate IV in Engineering

Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
This program comprises the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) stream of the Certificate IV in Engineering. Enhances the capabilities of people already working in the engineering field, specifically employees engaged in the manufacture of tooling and components using computer-assisted numerical control processes. NMIT also offers other streams of the Certificate IV in Engineering through the Mechanical Manufacturing Department.

Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Provides apprentices with a high level of basic and advanced skills in fitting and machining which they can build on through on-the-job training, including marking out, use of hand tools, drawing, turning, milling and grinding. NMIT also offers the Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade to non-industry and international students through the Mechanical Manufacturing Department.
