Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
This program comprises the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) stream of the Certificate IV in Engineering. Are you ready for the next level in CNC processes and manufacturing? If you’ve completed the Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or already working in manufacturing of tooling and components – you can go on to enhance your skills specifically in the operation of computer controlled production plant and a range of production processes, operate plant to produce and finish mechanical engineering products.

Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Provides apprentices with a high level of basic and advanced skills in fitting and machining which they can build on through on-the-job training, including marking out, use of hand tools, drawing, turning, milling and grinding. NMIT also offers the Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade to non-industry and international students through the Mechanical Manufacturing Department.

Certificate II in Engineering Studies
