Sharpen your computer skills using essential software for Personal Assistants. Topics include: advanced Microsoft Word features (forms, tables, reports, mail merge, data import, macros etc); Microsoft Excel (lists, worksheets, workbooks); and PowerPoint presentations. Also includes a touch-typing speed certificate. This module can be taken individually or together with the module Administration for Personal Assistants to attain the Certificate in Personal Assistants.

Administration for Personal Assistants

This module covers the key administrative skills required of a Personal Assistant. Topics include: client liaison; personal presentation; diary management; records management; storage systems; creating manuals; organising meetings and conferences; and travel administration. This module can be taken individually or together with the module Computing for Personal Assistants to attain the Certificate in Personal Assistants.

Introduction to Shorthand - Pitman 2000

Shorthand is a useful skill for many professionals including journalists, executives, administrators and students. This course introduces the Pitman 2000 shorthand system and trains you to write the basic shorthand strokes. Topics include Pitman theory and dictation skills.

Word Processing Skills

Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Word for efficient word processing. Topics include: computer fundamentals; keyboarding techniques; and basic and advanced features of Microsoft Word. This module can be taken individually or together with the module Office Skills to attain the Certificate in Office Administration.
