Diploma of Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) - Power Systems
Teaches planning, analysis and design of power systems and hardware including control and protection systems. Identify and work with customers and clients investigating quality of supply issues operation and control of power supply systems.
Advanced Diploma of Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) - Power Systems
Provides the knowledge needed to work at a high level within the power industry. Skills learnt include planning, design, fault management of protection systems and equipment. Certificate IV in ESI-Substations
This course is taken from the UET06 Electricity Supply Industry Transmission, Distribution and Rail Sector Training Package and suits Certificate III Electricians working with in the power industry. Designed for career advancement within the power industry. Areas of study include sustainable energy, substation inspections, installing/maintaining substation systems, circuit breakers, instrument transformers, switchgear, capacitor banks, onload tapchangers and distribution field devices.
