With the real estate industry continuing to boom, qualifications and skills in property management and real estate agency operations are in demand, while conveyancing offers a highly specialised career path in the preparation of property contracts, titles and settlements.

Diploma of Financial Services (Conveyancing)

Gain the necessary knowledge and skills to operate your own conveyancing business, including managing trust accounts or finalising conveyancing transactions. This program is designed for non-lawyers who wish to operate their own conveyancing business. Under the Conveyancers Act 2006 and from 1 July 2008, non-lawyers wishing to operate their own conveyancing business are required to be fully licensed by the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) Victoria.

Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate)

This program consists of three units from the CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) that meet the educational requirements for employment as a Real Estate Agents’ Representative. An agents’ representative is an employee of a licensed estate agent who performs any of an estate agent's functions, such as a sales person or property manager, under the authority of that estate agent. While an agents’ representative may be a sales person or a property manager, they cannot operate a real estate business. The course covers property legislation, real estate sales and the rental market.
