Certificate III in Science

Pathway to Science and Health
The Certificate III in Science, delivered together with the Certificate II in General Education for Adults (CGEA), is offered through the Vocational Pathways Department. This course caters for mature-age students who are interested in, but do not have a background in science. This course is also suitable for overseas born students who have studied science in their own language but require further English before further study.

Certificate IV in Science

Pathway to Science and Health
The Certificate IV in Science is a bridging course for mature age students who would like to pursue further study in a science-related field at university level. Students gain a good grounding in chemistry, biology, physics and maths and also develop the writing skills necessary to support their science studies. Students who have completed the Certificate IV in Science at NMIT have subsequently been successful in a wide range of university science courses.
