Screen and Media Programs at NMIT are designed for students looking to develop or enhance existing skills in TV broadcasting and video production.
Students work in state-of-the-art HD Broadcast production studios. Activities include non-linear editing on AVID Media Composer and Final Cut Pro and direct experience in computer-based workflows, similar to the latest studio facilities around the world.
NMIT also boasts Australia's first educational installation of a hard drive based recording and playback system (an EVS) utilised at all major sporting events around the world from Grand Slam tennis, the FIFA World Cup to the Olympic Games in Athens.

Diploma of Screen and Media
Hands-on coursework to give you practical industry skills - video production is the growth area of television production in Victoria. The Diploma of Screen and Media is designed to develop or enhance existing skills in TV and video production. The course operates with video production equipment used commonly in the industry and includes non-linear editing on AVID Media Composer and Final Cut Pro.
