This qualification is required for employment in a range of roles that involve working with older people and people with disabilities to maintain their health and well-being through leisure activities. The Certificate IV in Leisure and Health provides a pathway for Certificate III graduates in aged care and health, who wish to expand their career options in an area of rapid employment growth. The Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is an eligible qualification as part of the Aged Care Education and Training Incentive (ACETI) program in 2012.
