Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 is offered through the Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) at NMIT via classroom and flexible delivery. This Certificate IV is a minimum requirement for teaching in the TAFE sector. It is designed to provide workplace trainers and personnel within the vocational education and training sector, with a range of training skills including preparing and presenting training session, developing training programs, evaluating and assessing participants to ensure learning outcomes have been achieved.

Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET)

The Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) has been designed to reflect the roles of experienced practitioners delivering training and assessment services in a registered training organisation (RTO) within the VET sector. The course provides teachers, trainers and facilitators an opportunity to improve their career opportunities within the TAFE sector.

Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) Practice

The Diploma of VET (Vocational Education and Training) Practice enhances teachers existing skills and provides knowledge and skills in four like learning sets: Facilitation and Professionalism, Design, E-Learning and Client relationships. Completion of this qualification provides teachers/ trainers/ facilitators an opportunity to improve their career opportunities within the TAFE sector.

This Certificate I in Vocational Preparation is offered through the Foundation Studies Department. This course is designed for young people seeking vocational training who also need to improve their literacy and numeracy skills. Develop your communication skills for the workplace, while enhancing your confidence and employment options. NMIT also offers the Certificate I in Vocational Preparation through the Youth Unit.
