The Young Adult Migrant Education Course (YAMEC) program is designed for migrant and refugee young adults from 16-26 years of age who have not completed secondary schooling and/or who need to develop further English language and literacy skills.

Introduction to Trade Skills ESL
This program is a six month course that prepares students for further training or employment in the Building and Construction industry. It includes trade workshop classes and industry visits and all students will have the opportunity to get their General Construction Induction Card (White Card). The program will be delivered by a qualified ESL professional. After completing the course students will get help in looking for apprenticeships or applying for pre-apprenticeships.
